CTO
is a computer scientist, algorithm architect and expert in financial systems with extensive experience in developing complex mathematical models for financial and investment planning.
He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the renowned Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and has held positions including Head of the IT Department at Gazprombank and Director of Project Management at TransTeleCom – two of Russia’s largest financial and telecommunications groups.
As the scientific mastermind behind StratePlan, he is responsible for the development of mathematical optimisation algorithms and the technical platform architecture. His work combines mathematical precision, risk-adjusted investment strategies and high-performance computing solutions based on state-of-the-art technologies.

Sascha Rissel is an entrepreneur, founder and CEO of mAInthink GmbH. For more than 20 years, he has been developing, scaling and optimizing technology-driven business models. Today, his work focuses on Decision Intelligence, CAPEX Optimization, Capital Allocation, Project Portfolio Optimization and mathematical decision optimization.

At the center of his work is one fundamental question: How can organizations make better overall decisions using their existing budgets, projects and investment opportunities?
With StratePlan, mAInthink is developing a Decision Intelligence solution for the mathematical optimization of CAPEX, capital allocation and investment portfolios in fixed assets. Instead of evaluating or prioritizing projects only on an individual basis, StratePlan analyzes the combinatorial decision space to calculate optimal portfolio combinations under real-world budget, resource and dependency constraints.
